Before sending out your invitations, it's important to set up all three registration emails; "Invitation", "Reminder" and "Confirmation".

You can create your own templates by selecting "Configure emails" > "Manage email templates" > "Add new template" or you can customize the existing templates by selecting any of the other options in the dropdown.

Tags ({{ }})

The existing tags within {{ }} in all emails allows for having dynamic content replace those tags in the email sent to the invitee. E.g automatically replace {{FIRST_NAME}} with the first name of the invitee to make the email more personal. 

The two tags {{REGISTRATIONLINKORBUTTON}} and {{EDITRESPONSESLINK}} are both required where applicable. The first is for the registration link to show in the email. The latter is for the edit registration link to show in the email. Do not replace or remove those.

{{FIRSTNAME}} (optional)

Dynamically shows the invitees' first name submitted by the invitees themselves upon registering for the event or the name associated with the email in the invitation manager list.

{{LASTNAME}} (optional)

Dynamically shows the invitees' last name submitted by the invitees themselves upon registering for the event or the name associated with the email in the invitation manager list.

{{EVENTNAME}} (optional)

Shows the event name set on the "Event details" page.

{{EDITRESPONSESLINK}} (required)

Shows a "Click here" text-link the invitee can click on to edit their registration information.

{{REGISTRATIONLINKORBUTTON}} (required)

Shows the registration/cancellation link or button with the text you've set when configuring the email. 

{{APPNAME}} (optional)

Dynamically shows the name of the app set by MeetApp on your account. Most often this name corresponds with the name of the app in AppStore and Google Play. However, this should not be relied upon and we suggest removing this tag and replace it with something else of your choice.
